Handyman
Part-time
Part Time (two days a week) handyman needed to maintain establisment facilities. This is an ideal job for a retiree with related experience. Flexible schedule.
Primary Duties
- Make repairs and alterations to building’s interior and exterior. Perform general day to day maintenance tasks
- Perform light duty carpentry, sheet rock repair and painting, as well as other handyman duties.
- Contract and coordinate with sub-contractors to complete building and grounds repairs as needed.
- Day to day cleaning or supervision of properties, including parking lot maintenance, safety inspections, lawn care, floor maintenance, office cleaning, shop equipment and other material property.
- Assign, conduct or oversee cleaning tasks by part time assistants.
- Have knowledge, understanding, and application of safety practices related to this position. Serve as safety committee member.
- Complete all related paperwork to duties assigned. Complete purchase orders and authorizations for associated outside materials and services.
- Perform mowing and lawn care if lawn service does not show on time. Supervise part time lawn assistants as needed. Supervise, contact and follow up for lawn care service companies, sprinklers and other lawn and landscape subcontractors.
- Supervise or conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of tools, equipment, vehicles, mowers, and other equipment.
- Operate equipment to remove snow from parking lots, sidewalks and apply ice melt for property safety.
Work Requirements
- Must be able to move and operate forklift, tractors, and store equipment, including but not limited to hand tools, shop equipment, mowers, etc.
- Must be able to frequently lift 20-30 pounds up to waist level and assist in lifting up to 40-50 pounds with assistance from co-workers. Must be able to complete tasks that require bending, twisting, climbing, squatting crouching or balancing.
- Must be able to frequently enter and exit vehicles. Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to spend much of the day walking or standing on concrete, gravel or grass.
- Position is considered as “essential personnel” and will be responsible for responding in inclement weather and working with other snow removal personnel.

Boat Detailer + General
Part-time
Buzz’s Marine of Kearney has an opening for a part-time boat detailer. This person is responsible for getting boats ready for sale, completing inside and outside detail of new boats purchased for customer pick-up, fulfilling custom-ordered detailing packages, and assisting in setting up showroom displays + other duties assigned by the service manager.
Primary Duties
- Pressure wash and detail customer boats and showroom boats
- Buffing & waxing hulls
- Metal & Glass cleaning/polishing
- Canvas cleaning
- Floor cleaning
- Interior cleaning
- Cleaning and dressing tires, wheels and rims
- Organize and re-organize service lot as requested
- Help crew located/move inventory as needed
- Assist in cleaning and organizing detail service bays
- Pick up trash and debris from lot
- Clear lot of weeds and leaves as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, moving and parking equipment to correct lot location
- Assist with setup of boat shows and other off-site promotional events
- Cleaning and dressing tries, wheels, and rims
- Covering boats and pontoons in used lot at the end of each day
- May cross train to perform other duties (i.e. forklift operation)
- Perform other tasks required by service manager
Work Requirements
- Extreme attention to detail
- Must be able to frequently enter and exit vehicles. Must have valid Driver's License
- Must be able to spend much of the day walking or standing on concrete, gravel or grass
- Must be able to lift 40-59 lbs and assist in lifting up to 50-80 lbs with co-workers. Must be able to complete tasks that require bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, crouching or balancing.
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions inside and outside.
Benefits
This is a part-time position with a starting hourly rate of $16. Our hours are Tuesday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday’s during Winterization, plus as needed from the service manager.

Primary Duties
- Help develop successful social media campaigns
- Monitor all social media content
- Track analytics and performance for social media campaigns Implement social media on platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter (X), Pinterest, Snap, TikTok and Google+ Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns
- Pull KPI data to determine social media campaigns’ success
- Utilize and keep up with tools and technologies used in social media
- Track customer engagement and SEO to optimize campaign content
- Assist in launching and managing email campaigns
- Contribute to the content creation process
- Partner with TV, radio, and digital media representatives to optimize ad buying strategies, maximizing exposure, audience reach, and overall marketing ROI.
- Assist with photo/video content shoots Assist with marketing endeavors including live events, customer satisfaction surveys, promos, etc.
- Engage with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
- Assist with budget tracking, submitting P.O.‘s, and other necessary documentation
Work Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Digital Communications or related field such as Advertising or Journalism
- 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing/social media marketing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent internet research skills
- Proficiency using social media marketing tools Mastery of the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter (X), Pinterest, Snap, TikTok and Google+
- Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter (X) Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance Experience with content management systems, word processor applications and image/video editing software
